‘My Syrian Room,’ part of SCAN UK's Syrian Diaspora Dialogue Project, is a storytelling workshop that invites participants to share their stories while expressing themselves through art.

The participants were based all over the UK and are from diverse Syrian backgrounds, and the workshop provided a space for Syrians in the UK to meet, share and collaborate.

A short video will be launched during the Platforma Festival in Oct. 2021.

The workshop was organized by Counterpoints Arts and facilitated by Anan Tello. 
It gave refugees from different countries the chance to share work in any language and practice English through public speaking, storytelling, and writing activities.
